Memory....It's whats for diner!

The chart above illustrates a computer's basic memory capabilities.
non-volatile storage  is memory that remains when you turn the computer off such as the hard drive, SSD drive, flash drive and CD and DVD drives.\
volatile storage is memory that is erased  when the computer is turned off such as the cache memory and RAM.
