Windows has had many improvments over the years since the release of MSDOS.

The original release only had input screens until the addition of the GUI interface which completely revolutionized the computer as we know it.  It provided the user with menu's  and visual representations of files.  Previous to this all commands had to keyed manually.

Since the GUI interface many additions have been made including multiple applications,  graphical improvments, voice recognition, mobile devices or just about anything you can think of.

It is only a matter of time until holograms and physical operation are included.
